We have a 2001 honda odyssey auto and noticed it seems to shudder intermittently when driving at constant speeds. also noticed that it idles low in each gear i.e 1000revs at 50kms and 2000revs and 100km - would this make a difference! It's a 3L engine. Any advice would be appreciated

Only thing really within the realms of most people is checking and/or changing the transmission fluid.

It may not be a transmission problem it may be a bad misfire in the engine. It's hard to pinpoint the cause from this side of the internet without more info or you posting a video. Best to get a knowledgeable mate to test drive it or take it to a mechanic with a good knowledge of Hondas. Many Honda systems are unique in the industry and some workshops are less familiar with common problems.
