Does it do any harm to leave the AC on all the time and just let it start and stop by itself!

Thats how I use the AC in my work van, it's done 60km now and no problems. The AC button has never been turn off.

I don't mean leave the AC on all the time that would be freezing especially in winter, I put the AC on to cool the car down after its been parked in the sun then I turn it off, but a client said its bad to not let it run because the tubes in the radiator block with oil and the cooler can seize.

Thats because the air has to go through both the AC evaporator and a hot heater core to effectively remove the moisture in the air.
Cooling or heating alone doesnt do a great job.
