Hi, I have a Honda oddisy front wheel drive car . On start up and from trying to move off the motor stalls and mis firers / back firers. Have changed over the whole choke air flow unit . no fix. Changed over the whole distribitor and leads and plugs . still no fix.Sounds like at start up ( hot or cold ) Choke is full on, give it a small rev up to say about 1000 rpm motor dies and back fires up the air intake . Any idea's . Thanks Peter .

Yeah won't be a vac leak. But faulty map sensor or oxy sensor sounds like a good place to start. cant understand the.(Have changed over the whole choke air flow unit).as they measure manifold pressure via a map sensor. are you talking about the idle control valve being replaced!
