I have a 2007 Suzuki Swift and was wondering when should i get the auto serviced! The car has done 54200km. Also I'm on a budget so who is the best to go to in chch! Have tried oil changers but they said the auto was sealed and they had no way of checking the fluid levels! any ideas much appreciated!

Either Hollands or a specialist outfit like Aceomatic is the obvious answer to that one I'd have thought, they will know what fluid is recommended and how to check it, and indeed tell if it needs changing at all. Many modern autos have special fluid requirements and checking procedures, they are often checked via filler bungs or sump tubes underneath at specific temperatures. It pays to avoid the unqualified monkeys when dealing with them :)
