We have our Legacy 02 TX with slowly worsening auto issue heightened especially when cold. The auto changes but lags as you accelerate and then clunks on the first change from take off and from time to time in earlier driving.
We are replacing very soon with a new vehicle but this is our company vehicle and we need it possibly to last longer, trading our old caldina in.
She has 316,000kms on the clock 98% long distance driving so getting tired of course. Is it worth spending $500 for a local auto trans specialist to check it over or do a service and what would possibly cause this!

Definately start with a full transmission flush

Obviously not just a flush from oil changers. Any ideas on Chch based reasonably priced auto trans people
