Are you serious!, tappets are part of your front disc brake mechanism, of course you will fail with noisy tappets. Noisy tappets have been the cause of many road crashes, and lives have been lost.

I'm no expert,hence the reason I have asked,but I understood that tappets are in the head,not part of the brake mechanism.Where do you get your stats from saying lives have been lost for having noisy tappets and causing road crashes!

Just watch out for the noise control officer.If they deem the noise to be excessive you might have the tappets impounded.LOL
