Just got a 2001 demio. Have read that the rear seats can be folded down to lie flat. Anyone know if there's a lever or how this works! Was not obvious when I had a play around.

Have looked for videos on YouTube and also for an owner's manual. Will maybe just have to play around some more till I can figure it out.

Don't know about the Demio but sometimes the seat squab lifts up and folds forward and then the seat backs fold down into the space previously occupied by the seat squab which gives the so called flat floor.You might have to fold the backs backjwards to free the squab first.
If all else fails visit a Mazda dealer and ask them.

There are single plastic pull tabs on each side of the rear headrests. Once an individual tab is pulled will release a rear half seat split forward.
