Assist Idea's Petrol Turbo Medium Sized Manual Car

zephyrheaven, Oct 24, 5:57pm
Dad's 06 Forester is starting to show its age & they need a smaller car, anyone recommend a small turbo petrol car 06 & upward!
Has to be higher clearance like a rav etc but the old man wont drive an auto (why people hang onto that old notion is beyond me - driving in Chch is insane these days let alone in a manual)

TIA

High, medium size and turbo - tough criteria! Lift kit on a MPS mazda 3!

RVR Turbo!

His 06 Forester is showing age, now you want to put him into something much older!

I wont give him any ideas Pete! He is a bloody old hoon as it is ha. He likes the Yeti's but as far as I can tell they are all auto (DSG!) & he wont go there - mum wishes he would cos he leaves every set of lights like its the Christmas Tree at Meremere!!

Haha. Just tell him the DSG can change gear far faster than he ever could in a manual, which means faster 0-50 times.

A 2006 car showing its age! *looks out window, '90 bike, '97 wagon, '67 car* how depressing, I am in the automotive stone age. Wish I had a 2006 car to observe the aging process closely! :P

True above, cant find a coil sprung 4 litre diff both ends fourby that can flex like my 80 series 1991 Toyota - some things were best built before bureaucracy

Likewise amongst our 90's fleet of vehicles one even has a carburetor.
