v6 front wheel drive mitsy, have done plenty of work to cars befor but never an auto trans, you guys think its a pretty straight forward job! i know its still going to take some time, but i have all the gear to do it, cheers

There is a lot more to rebuilding an auto trans then most seem to think.

chances are its one of the common auto boxes to fail so it may do it again in the near future if your unlucky.What model/year!

95 v6, not going to rebiuld it, just looking at replacing it, yea i know they dont have a good name but seem to like them for some reason

Find a replacement before you buy the car Dasfi, they are a weak point and getting harder to find. Many different variants also so get all of the trans model codes before you ring around.

Yup 4 hour replace fwd box,as said tho be hard find good one when comes to tranz i buy from wreaker get guantee even if 3 months
