Wheel offset question

Can I put 38mm offset wheels onto a car designed for 25mm offset, would I need to use a spacer!

Put them on there and see if they hit anything its pretty simple.Depending on the difference in width of the wheel your basically moving the wheel inboard by 13mm.A 10-12mm hubcentric spacer with longer studs would obviously be a good idea if you dont want the car to look gay.

Variation of model
Lowered or std
Current strut to tyre clearance (top AND side)

Forget about "offset" . you NEED to worry about "backspace"

Google "Rim backspace"

The thread is titled "wheel offset question" its pretty simple for this guy to work out whats going on he needs the rim widths though.

Backspace. considering nearly every wheel you can buy these days comes with the offset cast into it somewhere its kinda a piss in the wind to bother measuring the backspace.Either way you can work out whats going on pretty easy especially so if his current wheels are already on the car its just a matter of getting under it and pretty much looking and you'll know if its going to clear or not, no need to piss around taking wheels off and such.
