That's current fees.

intrade, Jan 16, 8:21pm
thats not clear at all it just states more common ones what are these the ones wirth all airbages? meaning they displayed the lowest figure you could get. we will see when its time it seems.

intrade, Jan 16, 8:22pm
na it seems the reduced i got the bill 468.25 for my diesel van relicensing 10.2.2015 its s.f.a reduction. even if my van is common as it is 2000 model but has 0 airbags and zip abs lol so i save 40$ if i am lucky wahoo and a ticket for 200$ for expired rego if i dont do it exacly that same day they change it to lower.
468 - 421= 47$ i can save and lets see the registration fees charged to do thhe rego 2 times Registration (MR2A and MR2B) 7.39 times 2 =14.7$ so 47$ - 14.7$= 32.3 $ lol and what does it cost me to drive in to town 2 times not to mention the ticket i be getting in whangarei from parking wardens if i dont do it the day the change happens.

Which is the current fee, plus an admin fee.

zeke16, Jan 16, 8:30pm
good luck crossing a finger, possibly easier while drunk in charge

laspaz, Jan 16, 8:31pm
Can anyone confirm this? I thought they were dropping around $30?

smac, Jan 16, 8:32pm
Where did you hear that? The ACC press releases and responses to people who emailed them direct earlier in the year said no change. unless that's changed.

bumfacingdown, Jan 16, 8:34pm
Sorry
"The annual savings will range from $42 to $132 for petrol-powered vehicles, and $82 to $172 for diesels"

Even at the lower end it is still cheaper paying two Admin fees to get on step with the new rates, unlike what intrade said

bumfacingdown, Jan 16, 8:36pm
"Vintage cars and motorcycles aged 40 years or more are not subject to risk rating. But ACC levies for vintage vehicles will reduce by 45 saving $32 for petrol-powered vintage vehicles and $47 for non-petrol"

Make sure are licensed to the shortest possible time PAST July the 1st.

laspaz, Jan 16, 8:40pm
Thanks very much for digging that up, good news :)

intrade, Jan 16, 8:43pm

So nothing to get excited about.I just reregd my 2005 car abs 2 airbags 6 month(on line)$144.49 for 6 months about $3 less than at post shop.ACC levy was$99.33 so hardly a great saving if i,ve read it right. Please correct me if i,m wrong .Whats 41% of $99.33?

jojo76, Jan 16, 10:08pm
Why have they made a big deal about this? As a diesel owner I will save a whooping $8 a year. crazy

bumfacingdown, Jan 16, 10:11pm
A fart skin off $41

jojo76, Jan 16, 10:13pm
I think those prices are wrong bumfacingdown, they are the same prices that are on the website already.

bumfacingdown, Jan 16, 10:14pm
Already got an Ooops in for that.

jojo76, Jan 16, 10:16pm
Sorry just noticed that ;)

bumfacingdown, Jan 16, 10:19pm
No probs, the site itself was a tad confusing in the way it said things and did not give specifics, just averages

smac, Jan 16, 10:26pm
Yeah stating there will be a saving, then listing fees does make it look like they are the new fees. I suspect ACC haven't published the final ones yet.

My rego expires on the 28th June. I betcha that registration, even if I leave it for a couple of days into July, will be at the old rate. I'll see at the time, but I may have to register it for just a month, then my normal 6 months or 1 year again, later on in the month.
