i know he paid through paynow cause it on my trademe page but money not in bank how long too.

It will be in your bank in 1 hour.

Depends on your bank. Some transfer once a day, late at night. Some \do it several times a day, and if it is the same bank TradeMe use, it could happen in minutes.

holdensorfords, Jan 5, 1:42am
But you're not giving the car till the money clears. right?

tony9, Jan 5, 1:44am
Ahhh, he has to. Paynow conditions require you to release the goods as soon as TM say to do so. Any recourse from that point will be with TM, not the buyer.

holdensorfords, Jan 5, 1:53am
Sorry, was thinking PayPal.

Did you sell it to that fella that works on the oil rig.

Woot woot--ya see that big ol flying pig?

tony9, Jan 5, 2:07am
So you would be quite happy to go into a shop, use the plastic to buy something, and then the shop says, you cannot take the goods away until I see the cash in my bank, which could be up to a week later?

Financial transactions notoriously slow this time of the year the computers go on holiday , give it couple days

morrisjvan, Jan 5, 4:43am
''pay now'' doesn't mean that the goods are paid for automatically, the buyer still has to organise payment as normal.
No money -no car-no exceptions.

tony9, Jan 5, 4:50am
I think you are confusing it with Buy Now. He can see the payment in his TM account, TM has told him the deal is good. The car belongs to the buyer.

morrisjvan, Mar 25, 9:06am
yes i think i am, but the second part still stands.
