Does anybody know when ( and if) Nissan NZ started offering a 10 year warranty on the Murano CVT trans? Seems it got offered in the USA but not sure if it happened here or even world-wide

No one elses lawyers are as powerful as U.S. Of a. Big engine and cvt is not a good combo.

Its also the worlds biggest market for large engine SUV's, so of course they offered a 10 year warranty. Limited to 120,000 miles

I have a 2014 NZ new Murano and there is no mention of any 10 year warranty anywhere. One thing I read online is not to even think about using the diff lock switch on tarmac. My understanding is that this is not an off-road vehicle and a gravel ski-field road is its limit.I intend to stick to the schedule for gearbox maintenance to the letter. I have another two years of factory warranty though, heh.
