I have changed the battery because the battery light is red and it will cut out and not start. New battery same problem is the engine had it or could it be something else?

the battery light is red You mean the one on the dash that is like ya credit card and in the red whereby you are using more than you are adding- I.E. Alternator problem-not charging-get it checked

Lmao the battery light coming on doesn't mean the battery needs replacing, it means its no longer being charged, your new one is now flat too. Your alternator belt is either loose or missing or the alternator itself has packed it in, these are the two most likely causes of that problem. You'd best consult an auto electrician.

1)charge up your new battery 2) charge up your old battery. 3)Put old battery in the back 4)go to mechanic/sparky and find out whats wrong with the charging system. - belt/alternator,busted wire
