Anybody have experience of shipping a motorcycle from one provincial town to another in the other island? Is there any online site to check out prices etc?

I use biketranz, not the cheapest but never had a problem though they can get behind on delivery during summer months.

you can ask here, or on kiwibiker, or on other bike related sites, and youll find the same comment comes through.
Biketranz are you best pick.
Also happens to be my experience too. They arent the cheapest, but there's not a big difference between providers in my experience

Yep, Biketranz. Year and half ago $425 from rural Taranaki to Westport, 5 day delivery. Could not get better service in my opinion.

+1. They only move bikes so have it sorted to hold them down , move them eye, and prices totally fine. Once got alternative quote that was similar. Also the bike can keep gas in it, using freight crowd means they have to empty it of fluids. Or fly there and ride it.
