Master window switches toyota

I've got a used import Toyota Raum. The master window switch played up, I bought one on-line not realising it was second hand. That one lasted about a year.
I'm going to have to buy a new one this time. I'm wondering (though) if they might be interchangeable ( Ie interchangeable bases -fitting a unique cover)? If you look at pictures the tops look different but the bottoms look the same?

JH34--what exactly is wrong with the master switch?
as in what is or isn't happening?

Uh-oh,, Father in law priced a master for an older Raum at $1500!

I had the window down and it wouldn't go back up. It did eventually but we avoid putting it down. I took the original one out and took it apart. A little white piece of plastic had broken. It seems the main button just gets worn and breaks.
I've noticed that (with Toyotas) they keep on going but there are several little things that you may need like a PCV valve. They may be cheap overseas but postage will be up to $50? Might be a good idea to buy spares when newish?
It looks like it would cost about $365NZ
