Im looking for a awning for a food caravan that does not have to be drilled into the caravan (ie. no permanent damage). Does such a thing exist?

I doubt any thing exists.
Surely it would benefit the caravan anyway? For resale purposes.
What reason do you have, for not wanting one bolted/riveted to the side?

Also. A retractable awning should be considered as an improvement, not damage. ? ? I dunno.

Always go the free standing Gazebo way. The folding steel framed ones from Mega or Bunnings

Yes as above it will need poles to the ground and even over the roof of the caravan(poles sitting on roof extending out) may as well buy a gazebo.

get a gazebo. packs away small. moveable, and youll find other times and places to use it too
