This is for a Pajero. Is this possible (bolt on)? and without to have problems because different gear ratio to back diff? trans axle nr slightly different- one 3 (at4m40) instead of T (at 4d56). I am a bit concerned to spend time and money before I get some good advice in this issue. thank you.

Ring & email around the wreckers asking them the same question. Also try the gearbox reco places

Not compatible. Different bellhousing, starter, and mountings. just for a start.

diff ratios wont be a problem. BUT as robbos1 said. it wont fit. completely different gearbox.

gear box is good, no problem but it is difficult to find a transfer case by itself. transfer case was run without any oil for ? long and it is full of broken bearings.
