Didnt John Key do a deal with his mates at the sky tower that the petrol excise tax goes to them and the national mp's have open chip tables on the house as some sort of back hander deal ? Some sort of dodgy JK / National trade off !
Either way the tax doesn't go where it should be !

The government's Collins petrol pricing 'investigation' is a farce as it deliberately does not investigate the sheer amount of government's taxes-on-taxes in our petrol cost. Far too embarrassing for Collins to highlight the government's voracious tax greed.

Maybe some of you Labourites need to put together a plan on how to repair the roads and create new ones with a reduction on taxes at the pump. If you're not happy about paying taxes at the pump, Stop driving and walk, bike or use public transport. Had enough of the Hands out brigades without the morons who can't afford to run a car looking to join the line of Beggars.
