Adrenalin Junkies - Wat wud u pick!

tahnasha, Sep 6, 10:05pm
Its hubbys birthday soon, and I would like to get him something different.I've found this site, he likes Holdens, he likes motorbikes but can't ride one, he said he would go in a hot air balloon or skydive (tandem) when I asked him a while back, he can dive with a tank, but said he wouldn't swim with the sharks. He's a bit of an adrenalin junkie, but I think he has his limits.

So need help in picking something he might like, I have no idea cos I'd do none of these! But out of driving, flying, water or land, which experience would you love to do!

I can thouroughly recommend a tandem sky-dive.
Organised one for my Sister recently for her hubby. same situation as yours.
. He was a little unsure on the day, . but once up there, had no choice but to go with it.and the smile on his face when they landed didn't go away for 2 days :) !

In the menu on the left hand side of that website is a Flying Experiences option/tab - personally I'd go for the Aerobatics Warbird flight on page 2 - 20 minutes on a rollercoaster ride with no rails - Awesome!, where do I sign up!

definitely an aerobatic flight in either a warbird of the red bull extra they have there.

Wow, see, great!I wouldn't have even looked at the Aerobatics Warbird one!

there is something special about the sound of a radial engine spinning away up front. Even the sound would satisfy most junkies.

If he is not prone to sickness then aerobatics and demonstrations of G force are great. If he is lucky he might black out for a second.

.I missd that, too. have to say, . would definately go with that over the tandem jump if it were for me.
. that's 3 for 3 on the aero-flight. ;)

Had a friend who got her hubby ride around Wgtn on back of a Harley. He loved it. Maybe a possibility where you are. And another friend who shouted his dad a ride in a racing car in Taupo

winnie, I was originally trying to find the V8 supercars, didn't know you could do all that other stuff. Then got stuck on whether he would want to actually drive, or do the laps., and if he did drive would he have a heart over the how much I paid for it.He's a bit of a tight bum, and doesn't like me spending money on him, LOL.

Getting daughter to quiz him tonight to see if he'd jump out a plane, she's a pretty good actress so hopefully he won't figure out why she's asking.

I'm on the Gold Coast cowboy110.OMG, can't believe it, I've just clicked Pay Now, and booked him on a tandem skydive for next Saturday in Brisbane. My daughter said you'll like it Dad, but your face is gonna get all squished up, and I could see his face trying to figure out what the hell we were plotting for him.

Good choice.

a ride in a Drag car is always good. anything faster than 10.0 will have his rectum pulsing & his eyes wide open.

I could rent my bicycle out for people to whizz down the Waitakeres on. I wouldn??

The V8 drive in Taupo is as a passenger but still a buzz. Presume they still do it
