Just curious, but noticed Mark 2,s some with gold lettering, some with chrome. Is there a signifacance to this!, thought it might be Zephyr and Zodiac, but no, thats not it unless a lot of people have gone to a lot of trouble.

If it's a Zephyr badge that's gold, someone must have had it plated. You can't pirate a Zodiac badge for a Zephyr, coz they're spelt different.
Now, on the other hand a Mk1 Zodiac had both a Zephyr & Zodiac badge on each corner of the bonnet and boot, and they were both gold. The Zodiac badge replaced the Six badge used for a Zephyr. But all Zephyr badges were chrome.
