Im planning on having a few drinks at a mates place not far from where i live, i dont want to drive home but would rather ride my bike. Can the police pull me over on a push bike and do me for D.I.C!

I think you can be charged with drunk and disordely

richynuts, Sep 8, 6:28pm
Why don't you stay the night and crash on the couch this way you can get totally hammered!

trogedon, Sep 8, 6:30pm
Why don't you just not drink!!If it's only a few kms - walking will be safer.

if its got wheels or legs yep Im sure they can. You are opperating a wheeled item while drunk on public roads etc.
Unless theres been a change.

#1- You should be congratulated for not driving.

I think that if you are causing a hazard by swerving all over the road they might hassle you, but what are they going to do!
They can't demand to see your license.

Just walk ummm stumble home mumbling the chorus to islands in the stream.

Taxi might be surprisingly cheap for such a short run.
