good to hear you got the car back. To be honest Im not surprised with the 'mods'. Are the crims behind bars yet!

the guys who took it came to see it a few days before it wentmissing (via TM auction). I knew where they lived so did a few random drive bys, spotted it today in their drive. So I went to the cop shop, where they said they would "get onto it as soon as they could". I though fuck that and managed to convince a plain clothes cop I spotted on my way home from to come with me to the house, got them red handed working on it. Though now, evidently that only proves they had it, not that they stole it!

Receiving stolen goods, in many cases is just as bad, or worse than actually stealing them.

yeah, but in only receiving they cant be done for the damage to the laurel, or my other car, which they broke the locks on trying to take that as well. The laurel now has the vin, chassis numbers and number plates from another laurel. I hope they at least get more than a slap on the hand!

Mmmm i'm worried now, someone txt wanting to look at my car today, they arranged a time and got my address, never turned up, but now know where I live and can come along and attempt to steal my car.currently have no insurance on it either, as Clic wants 6 months payment, pointless when i'm selling it, only just ran out too.

Really, no insurance! Brave.Might pay to disable it somehow so it won't run at least !

Yeah be carefull ay, im keeping mine at another address now! The moron that came saw my car wanted swap for a car he had, sohe came sawmy car, then I went see his at his place on the same day. He musy have been thick as shit to take the my car to his place seeing I knew where he lived. I wish I had a camera for the look on his face when I came up the drive face to face with him and his mate working on my car and asked them if they rememberd me. Even more pricless was the look on their face when an un-marked cop car rolled up the drive 10 seconds after me! :)

I just took the ECU out, so its not going anywhere, without a towtruck at least. doesn't run with a stock ecu at all. so that should sort it
