I want to buy a Jeremy Clarkson book for a family member, but there are quite a few to choose from and I dont know which to pick. Have you read any of his books and if so which would you recommend I buy! Thank you :o)

I've read 'em all - any of them is a good laugh if you like Mr Clarkson, you can't really go wrong. I've learned not to read JC on planes as I tend to laugh out loud and get an elbow in the ribs from wifey.

I have 'You've got soul' or words to that effect. Good read, a little more on the serious/insightful side than his usual.

He's onto a good thing. Takes only an hour or two to read the light content, then you want to go out and buy another, and another.

- never buy the little fella's books, they're rubbish.

His writing is a bit better crafted than a lot of what he says on air IMO.
I've read the 'I know you've got soul' one - pretty lightweight, but you come away knowing a bit of smoko table trivia like how many million horsepower the space shuttle made.
I still wouldn't take any of Jeremy Clarkson's opinions about anything too seriously, but he's definitely an entertainer!

Buy them O'Rileys book called " Aseries of small explosions " instead. They are on here. Seller isziwico. Laugh till you cry funny and definately not pathetically correct.
