Meh. Pretty uninspired at the front, basically an Aston in profile, backside isn't as refined as the DB9.
Good to see they got rid of those god awful brushed alloy brake duct accents.
V6! DIdn't they learn with the 220 and the S type.

You mean the V6 in the XJ220 that made a lot more power than the V12 ever could in road trim! Sure it didn't sound quite as good, but it still is an awesome sounding engine. S-type V6 was the entry level car! Plenty of V8 options, including the supercharged version.
Besides which, the new car is meant to be positioned below the current XK, so will naturally be a 'lesser' powerplant.
Agree the new car does look bloody good.

A bit fussy but it's not a bad looking car.
It's obviously designed by that Ford guy who did the XK8 and all of the Aston Martins. what's his name! The one who's basically only got one design in him, and so all of his cars look the same.
I do like the electric "push for 100 more horsepower" button - it's excellent to see the performance makes picking up electric/hybrid technology and running with it.
