im a short tempered bastard. plenty of things annoy me., I get annoyed at people asking 'where is a good and cheap xxxxx', I mostly get annoyed at it because the amount of threads that get posted with that question is quite high. I know some on here are anal about grammar and spelling, but that aside, what repeated questions and topics do you get sick of seeing on here! Ive a few more holden vs ford jappa vs v8

Any thread with bad spelling or text lingo in the title. I don't bother opening them as a rule.

Or the posters that what the full explanation on how to diagnose and repair a fault in their car without providing even most basic information on the make, model and engine in their car.

Ricers who won't accept that my V6 commodore is totally superior to their Accord Thai in every way imaginable.

Please take pity on me and help me and tell me "what's the best" this or that and how do I get it at cheaper than everybody else pays and research it for me because I can't afford two minutes or spare brain cells to look on google but I will be back later to flame you all for not telling me what I want to hear and picking on my crap spelling!

^^^You'll probably find that a lot of those people ask the messageboard as PART of their research, not INSTEAD of research!
But the picture you paint is all too real.

What exactly is an Accord Thai, you've mentioned it twice here and I still have no idea. The only thing that comes up is a Thai man-lady next to an Accord. Please help!
"Philosophy: Honda's answer to the Falcon and Commodore."
"Engine: The 2.4-litre four-cylinder will have cynics (like me) saying that it's not powerful enough. But I was pleasantly surprised. It' snot sluggish by any means and is far more refined and economical than the Falcon and Commodore donks."
"Standard equipment: More than you get in a Commodore or Falcon and for less money. Dual zone air-conditioning, six-CD player, remote central locking, cruise control, plus an impressive list of safety equipment, see below."
Damn Japs and Thai's making better cars than the Aussies lol

I've mentioned it ONCE in here! And it's a bit of an inside joke. If you don't understand it (yet) then you can thank your lucky stars.

So people who don't know much about cars shouldn't come in here and ask for advice why!I am interested to know, that question is not a challenge.Asone of these aforementioned people who knows nothing about cars where else should we go!
The way I see it you guys/girls should feel flattered that you are considered a valid source of information regarding cars.Being able to share information is a wonderful thing in my opinion.

And nobody here would disagree with that, there are times though when patience gets sorely tried. Some folks ask for solutions to fairly complex problems but don't mention what make/model/year their car is, for instance. The beef the OP has though is with the bogans who think either Ford or Holdens rule and one or the other is superior in some way and they come in here and vomit their bile at each other. That and a few other thread types that appear with monotonous regularity.

The statement, or words to the effect of "Buy a Toyota, it will solve all of your motoring problems because they go forever with little or no maintenance" would have to be one of my biggest gear grinders. Its a serious delusion given the amount of people who get burnt with expensive repairs after paying high prices (Toyota Tax)for unchecked examples that have suffered badly from Toyota Slob Syndrome that have turned out to be lemons. But a sheep and his/her money are soon parted, do people REALLY pay $15K or so for 15 year old diesel Prados with a couple of hundred k on board like you seen on here!Or $4K plus for a daggy Hilux that was first hitting the road the same year the Rainbow Warrior got blown up!Sheesh.

I don't like threads that have a title 'Help', as they could all have the same title, so you won't know what's it about until you open it.
And the threads where you offer help but no feed back.
