to be fair if you have your reserve price disclosed you probably aren't going to get low-ballers like that due to an ambiguous price. You know what you want for it - but they don't. For all they know the reserve could be $1000 or it could be $10,000. I would remove the bids and change the start price to the reserve and put up a buy now of about $400-600 above the reserve/start price. It helps attract interest if you set a lower reserve, that way I find it creates lots of interest and someone panics thinking someone else will bid so they hit the buy now. Has worked well for me many a time. Otherwise set the reserve to $1 and let the market dictate what it's worth.

I had it listed previously with start = reserve, didn't get a lot of interest which is why I've listed it like this. The reserve is set to the average price they are going for on trademe for that year and mileage. But what are peoples expectations if they are only prepared to pay $700!!

not getting much interest suggests that it is not very well priced. The Windom has a poor reputation with the V6s blowing head gaskets or doing in their transmission. To most people, they are no better than the same era Diamante, and therefore the value suffers. In my mind an example with that amount of kms is around $1500, give or take a few hundred, but certainly not worth any more than $1800-2000. What is your reserve price!

also you're going to get people trying it on regarding the price, unfortunately that's just human nature. The funniest is when they offer a mediocre amount but stress the point that it's 'CASH'. how else are they going to pay for it! In this case just ignore that person and move on, some one else will be prepared to pay more than $700 for it - but if you aren't going to give an indication of what your reserve price is you are just going to set yourself up for a string on people low balling you with silly offers.

you asked them to make an offer so they did just that,700 bux, now you have them hooked you just have to real them in, work on it, do not be too silly with your price as you will keep the car, its a gem in your eyes, a rock in theirs, rego runs out soon so theres another 250 bux gone, its not a mover so work it to sell it.
