my daughter's car which was stolen last night.She's a bartender at the Outback Inn, finished work 4 am and went outside to find her car gone.It is a Toyota Sprinter, Silver.Reg. no CLZ 131.She is gutted.she had around $900 worth of gear in it too.If anyone does sight it could you please notify the Police!Thankyou very much.

Never leave gear in your car, no matter how long you're gone for. That's the 1st things thieves look for.

darkraven1, At the risk of starting a mud flinging match. Please ask people to contact YOU not the Police, its heartbreaking to find out that someone has found your missing property only to have the Police fail to do anything about it.
Theft is not even close to a priority for them. Someone on here the other day was told to go away when they located their own stolen car. I have had the same experience and had to make a mad dash accross the country to pick up my own stolen gear after the Police failed to walk accross the road from the Police station to retrieve it after having a week to do so.
I won't post again in your thread as I don't want to hijack it but PLEASE take my advice seriously.

Just an update and thanks to the people who responded!Police have found my daughter's car.parked in a street in Nawton.No damage and her belongings were still inside it!Pretty amazing, she was able to get her belongings back but car has to stay at the tow yard to get dusted for prints.She can then get it back at a cost of $170 for towing fees!

What a wonderful outcome!It's nice to see a happy ending every now and again when a car gets stolen.
