Its annoying when you see a car at a good price with low mileage and when you read the add the car has actualy done several hundred thousand km but the engine was replaced only a 50000km ago and somehow that magiclay means the car has only done 50000km.

The engine is the most major part that has km related problems- once thats done its usually good for another couple of hundred thou with only minor repairs, but still its annoying so I never do it.

Pedantic.
And no, you're not! There's a lot more to the car than its engine.

Easily answered: does an odometer measure mileage or engine hours!

My point is you can replace your wheel bearings, brakes, gearbox and clutch for less than the price of an engine overhaul.

You'd want that on anything GM!
