Most Blacksmiths will do it. I don't know of a local one to you though sorry.

If just to lower it, then blocks are the bets way. If to reset due to sagging etc, then google suspension and or trailer or engineering specialists in Palmy or similar.

I simply brought a pair of s/h SR5 springs & used what I needed to make up a new set for my 88 Surf.

As above the proper way to go is to replace the weak spring(s).

Often what happens with a remanufactured set, is they will settle down an inch or 2 after a few months. By using good condition s/h leafs & swapping lengths around to get a good set, I had NO settling at all. Have had that rebuilt set in there for 2 years now & done a few heavy loads of 300kg plus in the back of the Surf plus towed a few heavy trailers & they still sit at the original height (15000 + kms ago)

Hey melissa i already have 2 inch blocks in the rear but the wheels still sit about 2 inches above the guards so wanting to lower just so the guard is just above the tyres.
Mr Fixit il look into swapping lengths around. Nothing ilegal at all doing it that way!

brightfire With the SR5 springs. I had to straighten the eyes (sr5 curved/ Surf on top) & then matched center hole to what I needed in thickness & cut to length for a equal staggered 4 set of 6mm leaves plus a short but active overload bar. I now have 100mm clearancebetween the diff & bump stops. 300kg in the back drops the springs by about 20 to 30mm. Do remember tho, that I set mine up for towing & not off roading
