Just a general warning. Put $40 petrol into the car yesterday. Went in to pay, and the chap behind the counter, "mistakenly" tried to charge me $58.90. I was paying by credit card. He had no real explanation, except he pointed at the cigarettes behind him, which was the difference ($18.90). I can only assume he undercharged someone, and had to try make it up somewhere else. So, check the amount before you put your pin in. Go SA!

A LOT of this happening around the country, not just in petrol stations. Lots of people don't check their eftpos before keying in, and they sure don't keep their receipts anymore. I think everyones trying to take the foreigners for a ride. Good warning!
