ive had 4 1 week and its prob started twice what you mean by battery terminals!

check the battery terminals for white power / corrosion , if there is shit loads of corrosion on the battery terminal that might be the problem. Pour boiling water over the battery terminals id they have that crap on them. Check they are TIGHT aswell

tight and clean still nothing.ive jump started couple times

Could be the starter motor solenoid not engaging properly, hit it with a hammer or stick then turn key

Also check your battery has the right amount of charge , should be 12v sitting as is , and about 13.5 volt with the car running.

this^^ also you can put it in gear and rock the car to accomplish the same.

What makes you think that!

battery charge at 12 and not sure about solanoid thing.and rocking the ute didnt do nething tried other day
bevharris1938,

Check the battery voltage with the car running , should be reading about 13.5volt
bellky,
Oct 22, 2:11pm
theoretically rocking the ute would have shifted the solanoid enough to engage it so probly not that. sounds like no grunt in the battery to me, or starter stuffed. i don't know
bevharris1938,

If the battery is not running at 13.5v with car running your problem will be the battery not getting enough charge , alternator problem
kamocivic,
Oct 22, 2:16pm
dad said same thing about solanoid and year will buy nother starter motor or battery and c what happens
kamocivic,
Oct 22, 2:17pm
i even tried jump starting with other car and just nothing at all
bevharris1938,
Oct 22, 2:20pm
Push start it and check battery voltage running
bellky,
Oct 22, 2:22pm
can't be battery then - must be connections or starter motor (or solanoid) you need good earths from the bat to the body and from bat to engine/starter ay.

The hammer tap might free up a stuck brush. Rocking the car will do nothing unless the solenoid is stuck engaged due to low voltage.

good advise , wont be battery if you tried to jump it and nothing
