It makes very interesting reading. Hopefully TM will also clean up the issues of $1 sellers withdrawing auctions when the bidding doesnt reach their expectations.

Turners themselves do shill bidding all the time and they are allowed to by law, as long as the reserve has not been met.

I won't buy a car from turners for that exact reason, last couple of times i've been down to an auction there would be 3 or 4 serious bidders and 6-8 turners employees on phones as well as the internet bidding that only they can see! I just don't trust them!

at least they (repocars) dontpull their auctions and go through with sales! Im sure they get HEAPS of people repeatedly bidding.

Camstain1 used to sell very dodgy imports. They would get their cars complianced through their own garage. They wouldn't even allow test drives before purchase. There have been a number of horror stories of people buying cars from them on these forums over the years. And there is also a number of people who dont come into these forums so there is definitely a number of other horror stories we didn't get to hear from camstain1 customers. I also very highly doubt that repocars didnt know the real reason behind camstain1 getting kicked off from here. There isn't any sort of systematic campaign going on. Trademe is finally starting to clean up some of the problems they have.
