Pretty much a bunch of tools, just waiting for one to take their head off on the trailer

It's nice to see young people prepared to get up early in the morning though.

Typical Americans have to go to japan to see the real thing in action on the streets and those cars are never half done in Japan, they only get the best stuff for their cars unlike here in little boy racer NZ.Now the Yanks that made these films have been banned from entering japan as Japanese don't want floods of foreigners just going there to spur on the street action further, Jap Cops will never stop it, When I was there it was all the rage to go up to the mountain roads to set out a course for street racing and it was good stuff, Night Temps mostly around 30 degrees so not cold and heaps of fun.

I dont imagine they'll be doing it this time next week - not heading for parked truck and trailer units. tools.

None of them hit anything so they can't be that much of tools aye. They certainly are not your run of the mill NZ Boy racers that can't drive for shite.Boy Racers from here all would have hit the trailer units, parked cars and on lookers too.

Yea I had to respect their amazing skills at controlling cars that are intentionally taken to the very edge. Perhaps the streets are not the best place to be doing this, but they do appear to be very much in control. I doubt there are many, if any drivers in NZ with that level of competence in 'drifting'.
Not that I am really a fan of drifting anyway. I more have respect for the control these guys have.

drifting on the street = NO.
don't you remember the kiddie killed by 'boy racer' silvia driver!
trogedon,
Oct 31, 1:33pm
I agree totally but these guys are doing on deserted streets in cars set up for it and they obviously have good control (doesn't make it safe of course).
bellky,
Oct 31, 4:58pm
oh ok sweet - i couldn't be bothered watching faggits drifting
trogedon,
Oct 31, 4:59pm
You couldn't be bothered learning how to spell 'faggot' either.
bellky,
Oct 31, 5:00pm
that was on purpose to show DISRESPECT
bellky,

learner!
bellky,
Oct 31, 5:02pm
didn't you hear me - i said LEARNER
trogedon,
Oct 31, 5:02pm
Ok, I'm sure they're weeping into their Momo race wheels now.
bellky,
Oct 31, 5:02pm
sorry. 'learner'
bellky,
Oct 31, 5:03pm
hardly fapanese - learner (sp. intentional)
magicmat,

I have no interest in drifting at all but I had to respect the control these guys show. Its a very fine line between 'drifting' and completely wiping out and these guys are right on it.
bellky,
Oct 31, 5:12pm
yes you are right. i was being a w@nk@
pollymay,

Then one of their stretched tyres blows ass and they hit the trailer. Suddenly it's a tragedy, perhaps no one around but there are also no run off areas or barriers without blunt ends.
trogedon,
Oct 31, 5:47pm
No, I'd NEVER say you were a WINKY.

Maybe you guys should go to Japan and then make comments of complete lameness. Japan Society would put any place in NZ to shame. 10 years in japan and never had to lock my doors at home or take my keys out of my car. Simply No Theives to speak of there and all very very polite. Young people there let loose in very controlled spaces as you see in the videos. Never do they do doughnuts right outside a primary school.yet look at the skid marks you can see around NZ Schools and tell me who is bad.

100% agree.

But let's not go thinking Japan is a Heaven on Earth 'cause it's not.

I've never understood drifting. a bit like syncronised swimming. there is no point! Maybye it's 'cos the peak on my cap isn't flat enough!
