Nothing wrong with chevy, well actually interiors are a problem but they make a decent 8 cylinder or 2.

The 57, the 3o whatevers, to me its these that make Chevy great. Some badged generic late 90's cruiser means jack all the brand. To me anyway.

Possibly for value / easy parts avail. etc , but the Lexus V8 (quite popular with jet boaters etc I believe !) , BMW M3 v8 may beg to differ re: engine weight / power output per litre etc. these days.
