Want to hear from anyone who has an opinion on em. Good and bad points etc. Looking at getting one for workshop use. Like the snapon on one, it's just a bit pricey.

There is a huge thread on this in general. I use Snap on for spanners, sockets, screwdrivers etc. but when it comes to power tools, then Makita, Hitachi & DeWalt are the only brands I buy (except some Rupes) (Get one with big Amp hours on the battery)

The thread in general is about drills, but the same applies.

None of my screwdrivers have cords on them. Whats the cord for - to stop them falling very far when you drop them!

Blue point is a viable option from the Snap On dealer, if they still sell them. The quality is probably up there but the price is more competitive due to the lower warranty threshold. I have one of their battery screwdrivers and it still works after about twelve years of use.
