Which would appeal to a buyer more!

I have a 1991 v8 Holden. I am wondering whether to spend money on the body or the motor! Can't afford to do both but would like to get a reasonable price for it. I was told as it is, I would only get about $2000/$2500.

depends on what needs doing to the body vs the motor

its unlikely you would get your investment in most cases

Don't spend too much trying to make it look shmick, as you aren't likely to get that money back. If the engine is nice and strong, do the body work. If the engine is making some funny noises etc, do that. As a buggered engine will turn most people away, unless they are mechanically inclined.
