Taking off inside cardoor panelling HELP im FEMALE

Im trying to get the door panelling off to get to the door lock so i can find out what number key to get cut. Handle for wind up window ssems to be stopping it sliding up and off. Ive taken off arm rest and undone screw by opening leaver. Any suggestions!

winder prob held on with a wire circlip - use a thin blade screwdriver and see if you can flick out the circlip [in behind the panel]

pulling the door panel off will not help you find out what key to get cut.who the hell told you that!

Ahhh Yeah it will.5 digit code on the drivers door lock.There are any number of places that will cut a key to this code.I've done it before and worked well after some CRC into the lock. What condition the lock is in compared to original is the big question though.

If the car is a sedan its usually easier to pull the boot lock out :)

As suggested above - the mobile man will sort it out or if you have to get panel off call in at a motor trimmer - they would be able to get it off in a few minutes.

If it is a NZ new car IE sold new here ring the agents they will have the key number on record .

Have just had to do it myself for a car I bought from out of town that the keys had been stolen from.
Rang Toyota with reg # they gave me key code . rang locksmith in Gisborne job done transporter driver picked up key etc went back unlocked car loaded it on and it arrived this morning .

Disregard all advice above - by declaring you are female you are no longer eligible to perform work on the vehicle. Seriously, why do chicks always tack that on the end of a question! Doesnt really make a difference, people who don't know how to do stuff come in both sexes, kinda doesnt matter does it!

I'm not sure there would be many psychologists that would agree with you on that one.
By declaring they are a female requiring help with something considered classically to be in the male domain changes the whole dynamic.
