sorry blossemyou need to buy an OEM bulb for yeol SR.
--Ohh habg on a minute--what SR is it --the old one with drum brakes or the newer one--If its the newer one a standard H4 bulb will fit. If its the old one its an old Tungsten carbide bulb.
I had success with fitting a halogen 60/55 in to an SR but it took a fair bit of cutting and modifying.

g,day Kaz,yep you are right.I went to cyclethreads and I bought an H4 bulb,,35W snipped the little lugs of on the sides and it now fits.phewwww, these are commoner garden bulbs.so no more worries if it blows again.cheers for your reply.
