69 nissan patrol. got nocked back for a warrent be cause the park lights dont stay on whenyoy go from park to headlight.i thought ok . i get home spend the afternoon trying to findout whats wrong/then i think hang on ive got a 67 valiantthat has the same setup .you pull the switch out to the first notch parklights /pull it out the second notch headlights and the park lights go out. so what is the answer .

My old chevy truck did just the same thing, was never a wof issue Why do you need park lights on with your headlights anyway !

If the dash lights and rear tail lights also go out when your headlights go on thats a fail because people wont be able to see you in the dark properly from behind. But if its only the front position lamps going out i wouldnt fail that

ALL SORTED / TOOK IT BACK AND EXPLAINED TO THE GUY HOW IT WORKED / NOW IT IS ALL GOOD GOT WARRENT .
