I have an Integra '94 DB6 thats running a ZX SOHC 16V Twin Carb. It has major idle problems. It constantly changes rpm and I think it burns way too much fuel as it pisses out with black smoke. When i go to turn it off it chugs for a few seconds and makes strange noises.
And it shakes alot when i start it up to take off, it stops after i give it a few revs. but then shakes again when i turn the key off.
Plugs and sparks are fine, Rings are fine,
Possibly automatic choke I've been told.!
anybody know of what it could be! Thanks In Advance:)

It sounds like a faulty automatic choke to me. How did you test the rings and spark plugs! Are HT leads OK! Is the thermostat functioning properly! And, is there a black box on the left hand side of the firewall (passenger side) with a whole bunch of vacuum lines going to it!
