just received ticket for parking on 10 minute bay for 17 minutes outside library in miramar. this happened 3 weeks ago. says on back that law allows tickets to be posted when warden is unable to put ticket on vehicle. how can anyone defend a charge like this after evan a week. if the ticket was on the vehicle one would know ever yes i was probably that long or no i just parked for a couple of minutes. im sure when law was changed it wasent meant for wardens who cant be bothered to put tickets on windows

Ask them why the warden was unable to attach it to the vehicle. You may find it is because there was no warden and they have issued the ticket retrospectively based on reviewing the contents of CCTV security camera footage.(I wonder if they are allowed to do that!)

always worth arguing.always. i have had that recently. it was quite amusing because it also said the warden was unable to attatch the ticket to the car. Thats because i was in the wardens face telling him to bugger off as he walked away backwards, i yelled at him all the way across the road then gunned for him in my car as i left. i dont know that i have a reasonable arguement though, might just let that one lay low haha.

wife got one the other day at a pay and display type. Funny thing was the ticket was written at 3:10 and the display ticket is from 3:08 - 4:08. Guess we'll get off that one ok on sending in the evidence, and some warden will check the time on their watch.

I didnt even know they could do that. What possible reason could there be for not being able to attach it! I have 2 rotties but they should still be able to put it under my wipers cause they have only ever gone through a glass door before & winscreens are way stronger lmao

They are making Wellington city an angry place with their wardens on every corner ready to pounce as soon as your time runs out & now they have a car that drives around taking photos of cars stopping for 10 seconds to drop a passenger off, also getting the taxis & couriers doing their business, $60 every photo, no use argueing with them or writing letters as the coucil is in so much debt they need the money they won't let you off. It is making the city unfriendly & will have adverse effects for the city. Shop out the Hutt or in porirua, they are much more friendly.

Don't they have a car that drives around with a camera now pinging double parking and loading zones etc! The one thats just been told to ease up on taxi's
