Went & walked the dogs today, locked the house, took the house & car keys with me (as you do) and at some stage throughout that walk i must have dropped my keys and not noticed.

Stupidly i dont have a spare key for my car (i know, i know) how do i go about getting a new key for it! The car is a 1994 Mazda MS-8 Efini. its unlocked but has no key to start it obviously. what should i do! Ripping my hair out right now. opinions appreciated

If you remove the entire lock from one of the doors and take it to a locksmith they should be able to make you a new key. I would use the boot one because it will be least worn and easiest to remove.

Call your insurance company, most company's cover lost keys with no excess and no effect on your no claims discount, if you have full cover. My company's covers up to $1000.00.

MyMazda ms9 had the key code stamped on the drivers door lock barrel.
Locksmith sorted it quick as a flash once I gave him the barrel.

Sometimes they get handed in at the cop shop but good luck finding them. They all go in the same box and the box is huge, it's just a massive mess of keys. I got a set back once though
