All this time labouring over what gearbox to fit my bell housing. So im just doing a bit of organizing in the shed. Grabbed said bellhousing and realised its from a left hooker, no good to me at all. What a knob. I have only had it in my possesion for freakin years. I dont know what possesed me to announce my stupidity to all in sundry but have a laugh at my expense. Its all good.

I can nearly beat this one. Was restoring a vintage car and visited someone that had a similar one. Noticed an unusual crossmember fitted, so took all the measurements and built one - only to find mine the day after I fitted the new one that I'd made up - Duh!
