have a s1 25det which has never run properly since ive had it ive changed. afm ,ecu ,o2 sensor, tps ,had the ecu scaned was ok,checked for vacum leakes and stil isnt running properly any ideas thanks

sounds like if you just changed the three things it would be a faulty AFM

swap it for another, usually though they either work or they dont rather than causing bad running

yea cas should be ok its like a bog/miss when boost comes on but if u eze throtle on it goes a bit better jus changed plugs and gapd them still no diff!

Sounds like either boost cut or knock problems. is the motor itself mechanicaly sound! Got good vacumm! No bad noises!
How modified is it!.

Get someone to stay in car while it is running or to keep it running at low revs,then spay throttle body cleaner around all the vaccum hoses and manifold,you will find your fault. Waste gate jammed,or ecu rooted.

Also check all intercooler hoses for leaks.a leak there will cause similar issues. Thats the ones under the bonnet and (assuming it still has factory cooler) the ones in the left behind the front bumper.

unplug the afm it should go into a "limp home mode" if it runs better then it is the problem , have come across this many times the client has fitted a salvaged afm and the vehcle still did not run right so i unplugged it and it ran better as the salvaged unit was also stuffed.

engine is sweet as far as i know iv pressure tested al the fmic piping and vacum lines no leaks. iv changed factory wastegate actuator,its got wasted spark so should be sweet,iv got it to idle 4 about 20 sec then dies i think it may be faulty afm wil try unpluging

See if you can switch out the ecu with another,I know a person that had this problem with a nissan only a few days ago. First it showed knock,then afm,used mine a good one but still the same. Switched the ecu and away it went.
