Fitting 'low' springs to VN/VP Commie front struts

Is there any easy way, I know have to undo the top nut, use spring compressers etc. Can I take them apart at the lower ball joints and top three bolts after Ive removed calipers and disks and tierod ends, anything I am missing! thanks petrol heads

What about fiting lowered springs to the rear. And if you dont know how to do it why start the job.

Thanks I have done the rear already (IRS) and have done other cars before but been awhile since I have done struts, just wondering if there was a trick of the trade, even thought about taking the front gaurds off and hopefully will get struts down low enuf to take springs off.

Yep, simple as.remove top 3 nuts & lower balljoints etc as mentioned but also undo swaybar from strut or if swaybar has been mounted on lower arm, remove from arm as well. This gives you more room to remove strut as you can swing the lower arm down further out of the way.
