I doubt weather you could reach the 4K reserve on any auto auction on TradeMe. Most folks have different views on stuff it doesnt mean they're lost & locked outside whining as you put it. if you as strapped for 4K I can post you the sticker from off my engine.h.h.

I think he means the speedo shown in the photos. Its got 7k on it.engine looks like its been used alot more than that.

How do you tell it looks like its been used alot more than that! Obviously it shows light corrosion and faded paint in engine bay, but that is no indication of mileage. To me it looks like the wreck has been sitting around for a while. Wouldn't have clocked up many miles doing that. Also the seller says that maybe the mileage could be higher so I don't think he is misleading anything, but given the age of car and the weathering in engine bay, maybe the mileage could be correct! Oils a bit dirty, but may never have been changed from new.
