Thanks for that but i did do that.It only returns a conversion in US liters (even the spelling gives it away) I am lead to beleive the US liter and the NZ litre are different quantities.

AFAIK, there are four quarts to the gallon. US gallon is 3.78Litres, therefore: 1 Qt = .945L 6Qt = 5.67L

To the first approximation: Litres = US Quarts. The 'US liter' is just a litre - only their spelling is different.

The US Gallon is different to ours, the Litre is still the same

Even better it works as a calculator. Add a 6 in front of your search.
