Hi just wanted to pick brains in here. Car has overheated, no leaks in radiator & water is full.think might be thermostate! Has anyone had this with this model & year & if yes what was the problem & how much does this sort of thing cost. Have a 2002 body that can take thermostate from if will fit also.

Is there lots of anti freeze in the cooland, not just water! A thermostat is a common failure in all engines and is usually pretty cheap and easy to replace.

make sure you put the therostat take you are putting is for a V8 and not a V6 as the open at different temps

Yep both V8s brokebloke. Not sure lugee just brought it. Its just been replaced now with a brand new thermostate & yes apparently was that. Thanks guys for the help ;0)
