Just started up the old girl after a time in storage, backfires, fuel spitting and a minor fire later, may be time to redo the Holley 1850 (4160). 37-119 is standard rebuild and 47-933 is the trick kit I think, best place to find in NZ folks please!

thats a 600 vac secondary isnt! it may not need a rebuild see if you can fill each fuel bowl up dont try to start the car just get fuel into bowls ( even take carb off to do it ) this will let rubbers and gaskets to reshape themselves I use to do this years ago when i had my cars sitting for too long. If you want a rebuild kit there are many V8 places around that sell the kits .BTW easy kit to do about 1-2 hrs from memory.

yep, common old 600 cfm vac sec. hadn't thought of leaving it to see if seals came right. Off the car now, could prob do with a clean anyway. Yeah thought it was pretty simple job, will call into local speed shop tomorrow, cheers.
